SOLD! The Babe Bus Van Conversion

See the country and never pay for an overpriced RV park again.

Every inch of this road warrior embodies my blood, sweat, tears and creativity. However, after 6 months on the road together I have learned that for the work I do (video production) I genuinely need a desk area.

Since she is still in tip-top shape and still under not one but TWO warrantees I've decided to list her for sale. Another wanderlust traveler may need a ride and I can start building my new van/RV to accommodate my work.

This will be a very short listing. If an appropriate offer does not come in within the next two weeks I'll be completely gutting the van and trying to work a new layout. At the end of the day I know this is a rock solid vehicle, with great gas mileage that is "stealth" enough to overnight most everywhere and self-sufficient enough to remove any need at all to pay for RV parks and THAT is hard to part with.

Light-weight basket shelves

Tin tile ceiling (no...it does not rattle)

Thermal curtains behind cab and rear doors provide temperature regulation and privacy for "stealth" camping

Reflectix rear window covers block light for "stealth" camping

Coleman 2-burner propane stove - portable

Side door, self-sealing bug screen

Ample hooks

Penny countertop

Double sink

Motor powered faucet (no water heater)

7 gallon water tank (easy to refill, have never needed more)

Ample kitchen drawer space

Shore power + inverter power plugs throughout

Large Truckfridge refrigerator keeps groceries at 37 degrees - has never failed me! (no freezer)

Truckfridge encased in a removable "bench" that provides added seating. Fridge can be powered via inverter outlets or 12 v outlets

Insulating faux wood flooring is easy to remove/replace, does not absorb water, soft on the feet

Two 200 amp marine batteries + 1000 watt inverter provide ample power for electronics, fans, lights, etc. Batteries are connected to the van's alternator and charge as you drive. In six months of travel I have never run out of power.

Exterior shore power connection + RV 30 amp plug allows you to plug in at RV parks or friend's houses to stay fully powered

Coleman Mach PowerSaver Air conditioning + Heater quickly cools or warms the van when connected to shore power or generator.

6" foam mattress that lays width-wise. At 5'2" I have no problem stretching out. Taller individuals will need to tuck their legs but that is the case in any van conversion.

Wall lights, ceiling light and reading light.

Generous under-bed storage houses the battery system and provides a wealth of space. Don't hunt for clothes in bins, utilize the re-enforced clothing rods and hangers. Sock/shirt/underwear bins secured in place.

No toilet or shower on board. I used a portable camping toilet. Waste is easy to dispose of and saves you many a late night run into public toilets or bathroom break in severe weather.

Honda EU2200i generator provides approximately 2000 watts of power (powers everything) for hours. Chain included to keep your home's power safe. Honda generator only conveys at asking price. (Value $1000)
